Delegated Legislation Monitors
The committee's usual practice is to table a report, the Delegated Legislation Monitor (the monitor), during each sitting week of the Legislative Council. The monitor provides an overview of the committee's scrutiny concerns relating to instruments that are subject to disallowance while they are so subject. The committee may identify new scrutiny concerns, ongoing scrutiny concerns or concluding scrutiny concerns for instruments examined in the monitor.
Additionally, where applicable, please refer to the relevant ministerial correspondence received which sets out any ministerial response to issues identified by the committee in an instrument.
Instruments of delegated legislation detailed in the monitor are also listed in the Index of Instruments on the committee's website.
